Coach Brett Fisher

Born and raised in Lake In the Hills, Brett played baseball in Crystal Lake all the way up to high school, where he played at Marian Central. From there, he went to college in Ohio at Bowing Green State University to work on his studies.  He tailored his career toward being around athletics and went into television sports. He worked in television sports talking to and covering some of the best minds in athletics (including baseball) from high school, to college to minor leagues all the way up to the major leagues. 

What kind of coach is Brett?

He is what they call a players coach. He is a coach that loves to coach and teach the game of baseball. 

What is Brett’s coaching philosophy?

To keep the children engaged, by having fun, but also learning, developing skills, and teaching about being respectful of one another, coaches, parents, umpires and the other team.

Positive reinforcement is the way Brett likes to coach and he thinks it makes a huge difference in children’s lives because they know that he is there for them to help them succeed.
